Completed tipi at Elk Island Retreat in Central Alberta, CanadaPackage 1 - duration 2 hours

  • Tipi teachings and setting one up
  • Story of the drum, do some drumming and learn drumming techniques
  • Walk to the sweat lodge, and learn about the ceremony

Package 2 - duration 2 hours

  • Outdoor Aboriginal Games
  • Craft making: choker necklace $4.50 per person
  • For a snack, Bannock roasting over the fire served with Saskatoon jam. $2.00 per person
  • Story Telling

Package 3 - duration 2 hours

  • Aboriginal Indoor Games
  • Discover your Spirit Animal and paint it on a stone $2.00 per person

Package 4 - duration 2 hours

  • Paint while you learn 'Mother Earth's Teachings'
  • Learn to share through the teachings of a sharing circle
  • Outdoor games

Package 5 - duration 2 hours

  • The demise of the bison and pemmican making and tasting
  • Craft/ leg bells for dancing $5.50 per person
  • Participate in a round dance
  • Nature Walk and collage

Package 6 - duration 2 hours

  • Participate in a Smudging Ceremony
  • Outdoor Aboriginal games
  • What about those cattails

Package 7- duration 2 hours

  • Where's my tree outdoor activity
  • Drum making craft $8.00 per person (must be 10 years of age plus)
  • Aboriginal games

  • Maximum of three packages or six hours in one
    day.

Craft are not included in the above listed costs

Add a lunch of BBQ bison burgers, salad and refreshments for an extra $13.00 per person. Lunch must be pre-booked.
